Our Story
Hounding Around Dogwear was established in 2020 as a direct result of my inability to find good, colourful, and decorative dog wear for my own hounds, including Fletcher, the face of HA.
I decided to design my own and after lots of trial and error I found the perfect combination: high-quality, durable dog wear that makes a statement!

Hounding Around has grown rapidly due to increased demand, and I now offer much more than just leads and collars. My range has grown to include personalised products for caregivers. My in person sessions have also grown and changed to include Zoopharmacognosy and Training sessions working with Tip Top petcare.
Many thanks to all those who helped me test the leads and collars, including my own dogs, my dog training clients, and my hydrotherapy clients.

My passion extends to my equipment, so that everything that leaves my workshop is thoroughly tested and checked. If I wouldn't use it on my dogs, I simply won't sell it!

Rescue Greyhound poor girl came from a horrific background and together we worked through to help her become dog neutral and enjoy life.
I could write a whole book about how my dogs have shaped my views and choices! Each one is so unique, and I’m grateful every single day for the incredible lessons they've taught me.
Every dog I have the pleasure of teaching and helping is treated like my own! I give them space to be themselves while supporting their caregivers in understanding their behaviour and personality traits. All this leads to a more harmonious home life too.
